In 2007, Volyn fought a case against a Washington city where the city's negligence caused the physical injury of a festival goer.  Through relentless investigation and skillful litigation, Volyn Law successfully concluded this matter without trial for a settlement of $225,000 in a case of a substantial knee injury.

Medical Malpractice

Volyn Law Firm is committed to the rights of the patient who is injured by faulty medical care, or the wrong use of medical procedures. 

In 2005, Volyn fought a case where a North Central Washington resident lost some use in her right hand when her arms were strapped down for a knee surgery.  Through pre-trial strategy, Volyn Law firm was able to successfully conclude this case for a settlement far exceeding $50,000 on behalf of a client who was determined to settle short of trial.

Employment Discrimination

Volyn Law Firm is committed to holding employers responsible when they fail to observe the variety of state and federal laws, including the U.S. Constitution, that offer protection to the employee in the workplace.

Volyn Law completed a case against the State of Washington where it had allowed the historic mistreatment of an employee at the hands of another employee over a number of years.  Through litigation, Scott was able to force the termination of the wrongful employee, restore all leave and benefits lost by the victimized employee, and require the State to pay the still-employed plaintiff a five-figure settlement.

Product Liability

Volyn Law Firm is committed to helping those harmed when a manufacturer fails to exercise reasonable care in the manufacture design of a product, and in so doing, creates unreasonable risk of harm to consumers.

Volyn Law Firm was approached by a potential client paralyzed when the defendant manufacturer and supplier failed to inform the plaintiff how to operate an all-terrain vehicle.  After months of litigation involving a national corporate defendant, local distributor, and ATV rental facility, Volyn Law Firm was able to produce an in-trial settlement of over one million dollars ($1,000,000).
